The rice of the Saint (arroz del Santo) is the most exclusive
Viver’s dish, and among the more traditional dishes can be
noted pot, or tasty handmade sausages.
As for confectionery we
should mention, walnuts cakes (“tortas de nueces”), sweet
potato pies (“pasteles de boniato”) and pumpkin purée pies
(“pasteles de cabello de ángel”) and "Panquemaos". Delicious
Easter cakes (“monas”) and bread stuffed with bacon and salted
sardines ("bollas") are made in Easter.
